Entira Family Clinics Inver Grove Heights is looking for a Business Office Float to be part of a dedicated team in a physician owned organization providing exceptional quality of care to our patients.

Responsibilities:

• Greet patients
• Collect insurance information and co-pays
• Orientation of new patients to clinic including distributing welcome packages
• Scheduling outside appointments for patients with specialists
• Responsible for updating patient accounts, new patient registration, and taking billing calls
• Reviews accounts on future schedules
• Obtains patient medical and insurance information in order to coordinate the patient referral process
• Maintain strict confidentiality with patient information
• Participation with patient and family centered principles that are aligned with Health Care Home standards
• Back-up for all business office positions

Requirements:

• HS diploma, GED, or equivalent required
• Previous experience in a medical setting preferred
• Medical terminology and computer skills a plus
• Must possess excellent organizational, communication and human relations skills
