Entira Family Clinics is looking for a Referral Coordinator to be part of a dedicated team in a physician owned organization providing exceptional quality of care to our patients.

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for scheduling outside appointments for patients with specialists, radiology, etc
  • Completing the referral module for all referrals (specialist, outside tests and radiology) and faxing to the insurance company as needed
  • Faxing/transmitting diagnostic imaging and physical therapy orders
  • Entering orders into the Minnesota Gastroenterology web site
  • Creating orders for tests as needed
  • Sending appropriate notes, labs, and reports to specialists
  • Performing quality checks to verify outside test appointments are kept
  • Participation with patient and family-centered principles that are aligned with Health Care Home standards

Requirements:

  • HS diploma, GED, or equivalent required
  • Previous experience in a medical setting preferred
  • Medical terminology and computer skills a plus
  • Must possess excellent organizational, communication and human relations skills
