As a proud Mahtomedi graduate, I feel incredibly fortunate to serve the community where I grew up. My approach to healthcare is rooted in collaboration, compassion, and personalized care. I believe that healthcare works best when patients are empowered, educated, and actively involved in their treatment plans. I take time to ensure that complex medical issues are explained in an understandable way, fostering trust and open communication with my patients.
My philosophy is simple: building strong relationships is key to achieving health and well-being. I specialize in managing chronic medical conditions such as diabetes, kidney disease, cardiac issues, respiratory problems, geriatrics, musculoskeletal concerns, and performing minor procedures. By prioritizing high-quality care, I aim to deliver compassionate service not only to individuals but to the families and communities we serve.
Beyond my professional life, I enjoy spending quality time with my wife and family. Whether biking, camping, fishing, or hunting, I find joy in being outdoors—whether on a lake or in the woods. Our family loves staying active, often traveling to support our niece and nephews in their sporting events.
In my downtime, I appreciate the little things in life, like homemade donuts and a good peanut butter and jelly sandwich. I believe in eating healthy, knowing where your food comes from, and staying physically, socially, and cognitively active. If I could have any superpower, I’d love to fly like Superman—soaring through the sky sounds pretty amazing!
Fun fact: If I weren’t in healthcare, I’d likely be a wildlife biologist, park ranger, or conservation officer. No matter what, my passion would always involve caring for others and the world around me.
My goal is simple—partner with my patients to help them live their best lives. Always be present, listen, and take time to enjoy the journey. After all, life’s too short not to make time for lunch!
