A Compassionate Partner on Your Parenthood Journey
Whether you are currently pregnant or planning to be pregnant in the near future, you deserve to start your parenthood journey on the right foot with the nurturing care of a compassionate OB GYN focused on meeting your needs and ensuring your – and your baby’s – well-being.
At Entira Family Clinics, we build our prenatal, labor, and delivery practice on the strong foundation of our all-encompassing family medicine practice. As your body goes through a series of exciting changes and challenges during pregnancy, who better to guide you toward a healthy outcome than the care team you already know and trust?
What to Expect From Us While You’re Expecting
Your doctor will be your guide through all 40 weeks – give or take – of your pregnancy, taking the time to listen to you about your experience and prepare you for what lies ahead. Your care plan will be tailored to your specific needs, but you can expect something close to the following:
- 1st trimester (weeks 1-12):
- “Pregnancy Confirmation” visit, including lab work and early pregnancy education
- Routine pregnancy checks every 4 weeks
- Pregnancy physical between 10-12 weeks
- 2nd trimester (weeks 13-27):
- Routine pregnancy checks every 4 weeks
- Pregnancy-related diabetes check between 24-25 weeks
- 3rd trimester (weeks 28 to delivery):
- Routine pregnancy checks every 2 weeks between 32-36 weeks
- Weekly pregnancy checks beyond 36 weeks
At Your Side During Delivery
It’s been said that failing to prepare is preparing to fail, and we couldn’t agree more. That’s why we work with our pregnant patients to nail down a birth plan that leaves them feeling comfortable, confident, and excited about their delivery. We support all kinds of birth plans and go out of our way to make delivery as comfortable as possible by ensuring you have the support you need – including your doctor’s active presence.
Primary Care, Obstetrics, and Pediatric Care All In One Place
We look forward to caring for you during your pregnancy, caring for your baby during their first days of life, and continuing to manage your medical care for years to come.
