A proud Roseville native and lifelong fan of the local scene, Dr. Azar brings deep community roots and decades of medical experience to one of Entira’s most established clinics.
He’s been a steady presence at Como Clinic, where he now sees patients who have been coming since the 1980s. “It’s a tight-knit, established neighborhood,” he says. “We’ve cared for grandparents, their kids, and now their grandkids. That kind of continuity is rare—and special.”
Before joining Entira, Dr. Azar spent seven years with a large health system. He appreciates the nimbleness of Entira’s independent model. “It’s like the difference between steering a cruise ship and a speedboat,” he explains. “We can pivot quickly, respond to patient needs, and empower both providers and patients with more autonomy.” From personalized referrals to flexible clinic care, it’s about treating people like individuals—not numbers.
Dr. Azar is known for being efficient, respectful of your time, and focused in the exam room. “I’m not a chit-chatter,” he admits with a smile. “But I run on time, and I try to be present and mindful with each patient.” He offers a variety of in-office procedures, from joint injections to minor skin treatments, and especially enjoys travel visits where patients share stories from around the world.
Outside the clinic, you might see him hanging out with his kids, grabbing a bite at Nelson’s Deli, or reminiscing about the day he skipped school to snag tickets to the first Star Wars prequel movie, episode 1, at Har Mar Theater.
