Ann Barry, MD In family medicine, my goal is to listen to every patient, treat the whole person, and work together to help them stay active and feel well. I believe it is a privilege to care for multiple generations of a family and to witness children grow up. Having the opportunity to be part of your journey, no matter where you are in life, is what makes this work so rewarding. At Entira, one of the most satisfying parts of my job is seeing medicine return to a place where doctors are empowered to make decisions alongside patients. I believe in collaborating closely with my patients and their families, tailoring each encounter to their unique needs, histories, and desired outcomes. Specialties:
  • General Family Medicine
  • Obstetrics
I strive to approach every patient with care, compassion, and respect for their individuality. Whether it’s addressing a specific health concern or supporting long-term wellness, I believe in listening deeply and understanding the person behind the symptoms. It’s all about building a partnership and creating a care plan that works for you. Personal Mission: "Sometimes it takes only one act of kindness and caring to change a person's life." When I’m not seeing patients, you can usually find me enjoying an active day with my family. My ideal day off starts with a great yoga class, followed by a day of water skiing or wake surfing with my loved ones, and ending with grilling on the deck. A Few Things About Me:
  • My self-care routine: A good workout or yoga session is my go-to after a busy day.
  • If I could have a superpower for a day: The Star Trek scanner to help solve those tough, puzzling cases!
  • The best advice I’ve received: "You cannot care for others without caring for yourself first."
  • If I weren't a provider, I would likely be a physical therapist.
  • The one food I could eat every day: Dark chocolate.
  • The myth about being a provider I want to bust: That we don’t care. As providers, we deeply care about our patients and are often thinking about and worrying over the toughest cases.
  • Favorite family recipe: Salmon on the grill—simple and delicious!
Health Tips I Swear By:
  • Exercise and water are key to staying healthy and feeling your best.
  • Eating well is essential to good health.
What You May Not Know About Family Medicine: We deliver babies! And, we often have the privilege of caring for multiple generations of the same family—something that truly sets family medicine apart. If I could prescribe a vacation for my patients, I’d send them to the mountains to enjoy the breathtaking views and time with nature. I look forward to partnering with you on your health journey, and I’m here to support you every step of the way.
