I feel so fortunate to work as a Family Physician—truly the best job in the world! I’ve been with Entira for over 22 years, and during that time, I've had the privilege of caring for patients of all ages, from newborns to older adults. I graduated from the University of Minnesota’s medical school and completed my residency at the Allina United Family Medicine Residency Program in St. Paul. I’m board-certified by the American Board of Family Medicine, and I’m currently expanding my knowledge in the care of menopausal patients.
I’m passionate about building relationships with my patients and their families. I love taking the time to truly listen and ensure my patients feel comfortable and understood. Working together, I help them manage their health, address medical concerns, and set realistic health goals for a brighter future.
When I’m not at work, you’ll find me spending time with my family, exploring national parks, playing tennis, quilting, or listening to music. I also love working in my garden and then going for a bike ride to a pickleball game—it's a great way to unwind!
One of my favorite quotes is from Michael Pollan’s Food Rules: “Eat food. Not too much. Mostly plants.” I believe in this simple yet powerful approach to nutrition. And when it comes to staying healthy, I always tell my patients: Move your body every day! Whether it's walking, stretching, lifting weights, or doing yoga—just keep moving. I often joke that everyone should pretend they have a dog that loves to be walked!
If I could prescribe a vacation, I’d send my patients to Grand Marais. The beauty of Lake Superior is truly restorative, and I believe spending time there by the water is a perfect way to recharge.
I’m so grateful for the opportunity to be a part of my patients' health journeys and look forward to continuing to work together for many more years to come!
