Project Update

• TH 61 from Egg Lake Rd to Frenchman Rd will be closed beginning on Monday, August 11 at 4 a.m. It is anticipated to remain closed until Saturday, August 23.
• During this time, crews will work on removing and replacing the mainline culvert under TH 61. Crews will also work on widening the existing roadway.
• A detour route will be posted during the closure, utilizing Highway 96 to I35E to Frenchman Rd.
• After the closure is removed, the existing roadway surface will be milled and overlayed. This work will be done under live traffic and temporary traffic control will be installed to complete the work. Construction is scheduled to wrap up at the end of September.
