As a family physician with over 36 years of experience, my mission is simple: to provide compassionate, holistic care for my patients, treating them like they are part of my own family. I am deeply committed to supporting the well-being of each individual and family I serve, and I strive to build long-term relationships based on trust, respect, and mutual understanding.
I have been privileged to watch my patients grow, whether they are children reaching milestones or adults managing chronic conditions. My approach to care is rooted in the belief that health is shaped by a combination of physical, emotional, and social factors, and I take the time to understand all aspects of a patient's life.
As the oldest of nine children and the father of seven, I know firsthand how family plays a crucial role in a person’s health. I’m also constantly in awe of the privilege of being present for life's most important moments – from assisting in births to guiding children through adolescence, and supporting adults as they navigate health challenges. I find great joy in being a part of these significant moments and walking alongside my patients as they navigate both the highs and lows of life.
As CEO of Entira Family Clinics, I am honored to work with a dedicated team of providers who share a commitment to offering high-quality, patient-centered care. Our clinic is a place where continuity of care matters, and I take pride in knowing that I can see families through multiple generations, providing care from birth through adulthood.
In addition to my work in family medicine, I have a passion for obstetrics, adolescent care, and mental health, with a particular focus on substance use disorders. I strive to make every patient feel welcome and respected, whether they are coming in for a routine check-up or facing a more complex health issue.
Outside of work, I enjoy running, staying active, and spending time with my family, especially my grandchildren. I’m also passionate about coaching youth sports, currently coaching high school football, and finding time to enjoy the outdoors in northern Minnesota.
